Borne multi-protocoles

MobiNear Box.

Combo Connectivity Chipsets Market

Combo Connectivity Chipsets
Combo means : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and UWB & FM,
including Low Energy Bluetooth (or Bluetooth Low Energy – BLE)
ABI Research / Short Range Wireless Research Service.
http://www.abiresearch.com/products/service/Short_Range_Wireless_Research_Service/AI~
forecasts that :
Almost 280 Million Chipsets to Ship by end of 2010
More than 979 million such chipsets will ship in 2015.
http://www.abiresearch.com/research/1003030

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth integration in a single Chipset make a lot of sense as they share the same 2.4GHz band making RF parts mutualisation a direct reduction of the BOM of the Mobile Device.
